It takes more of this detergent to get your diapers clean, but the scents are delicious and unique, and it does the job.
Welcome back from the long weekend, everybody! To kick off the new school year and the start of fall, I have a new detergent giveaway for you, from Ruby Moon Laundry. This detergent is made specifically for washing cloth diapers.
When I first tried this detergent, I had a few problems, but upon contacting Lyndsay, the owner of Ruby Moon, I realized this was because I was putting this detergent in my dispenser, and she recommends throwing this powder straight in with the wash. When I did that, the dinginess that had been accumulating on my diapers from my experimenting was greatly improved. Now I’m wondering if my other powder detergents should be used the same way and I just never thought to ask!
The only downside to this detergent is that it takes more of it to wash a load of diapers than you need of Rockin’ Green or Lulu’s Glamour Wash, 2-3T instead of 1-2. But, the scents are nice, and unique, available in Cucumber Melon, Clementine, and Lavender. I tried Cucumber Melon, which I don’t believe is available from either of those other brands. So, if scent is top priority to you, Ruby Moon gives you additional options. Ruby Moon also make cloth wipes, wipe solution cubes, and wool wash bars, so if you like getting all your diaper washing supplies in one place, Ruby Moon can save you some time, too.
