There’s a lot going on lately (just wrote 20,000 words of fiction in 8 weeks, signed up my first 3 blog advertisers, and baby girl is growing like kudzu!), but I wanted to take some time to let newer readers know about all the great info available on 29 Diapers. This site is so much more than the blog posts I write and the diapers I give away! So for those of you just joining me in the past few months, here is a quick tour of all the goodies on 29 Diapers. Please let me know what your favorite feature is, and what info you’re still looking for! I’m constantly updating.
The Web’s Most Complete Explanation of Fluff
On the 29 Diapers sidebar under “Pages” you will see article after article about how modern cloth diapers work, what they look like, how to wash them, what the lingo means, everything!
One of the reasons I started 29 Diapers was that the other diaper blogs out there were either about moms’ experience using cloth diapers (interesting and fun, but not helpful for figuring out how to use cloth in a hurry), or they were sponsored by a blog so you couldn’t be sure the information was unbiased. In fact, I had a particularly nasty experience with one blog asking me to write a post I had suggested they create on how to save money on building a stash and then rejecting it because it promoted too many sites other than their diaper shop. Boo. Not only that but they then took the concept and wrote a TERRIBLE article using my idea but none of the resources. 29 Diapers is independent, unbiased, and full of information to serve you the consumer. In fact, if you have a question about cloth diapers after visiting my site, I invite you to contact me directly to get a personalized answer (contact page also on the sidebar). I don’t want confusion or frustration from running all over the web to get answers to keep you from enjoying one of parenting’s most win-win products!
Tips To Save 70% Off Baby’s First Year
I told you recently that my book Ecofrugal Baby: How To Save 70% Off Baby’s First Year just found a publisher, but did you know you can read excerpts of the book for free on the 29 Diapers sidebar? The information is just below the cloth diapering info and is listed by category of baby gear so you can quickly find what you’re looking for. It’s all about how to be green while saving huge amounts of money on baby gear. Let me know what your favorite tip from the book is, or leave me a tip of your own in comments. Who knows? It might end up in the next edition of Ecofrugal Baby!
29 Diapers on Facebook and Twitter
I use Facebook to update fans on new giveaways, but I also post questions, discussions, (jokes), and ask for your input on Facebook as well. If you want to get involved with 29 Diapers beyond the blog, like 29 Diapers on Facebook to stay in the loop. You can even tell me which prizes you want to see in giveaways and sell your cloth diapers in the discussions tab free of charge!
For the moment the @29diapers Twitter account is linked up with the Facebook updates and only occasionally has unique posts that don’t appear elsewhere, but I am considering starting up a Tip a Day for Ecofrugal Baby money-saving tips, which would be something I would only put on Twitter since the Facebook page is already pretty busy. If you’re interested in this, please let me know in comments so I can put it on the to-do list.
….
Thanks for tuning in! I have THE COOLEST diaper event planned for you in the next couple weeks. I just have to put the finishing touches on it and we’ll be ready to go. Check back here and on Facebook for updates, and thanks for being 29 Diapers fans!

That sounds exciting. Also, I love that you are an unbiased voice. – Trisha
