Though the Thirsties Duo Hemp prefold is not my favorite prefold, the Duo Wrap diaper cover is the best on the market.
Good morning! Today I’m excited to tell you about my very favorite diaper cover, the Thirsties Duo Wrap! You may remember last week I gave the matching Duo Hemp Prefold a mixed review, but this cover is by far the favorite diapering product in our house. Whether you pair it with the Duo Hemp Prefold or a standard DSQ prefold, or even a fitted diaper, you will love this cover. I promise. 
What Makes a Great Diaper Cover?
Wrap-Style: I’m a big fan of snug-fit wrap-style covers, because you can use them with prefolds without having to fasten them. Wrap-style covers are trim-fitting and from the outside look every bit as cute as a pocket diaper.
Double leg gussets also make for a better fit for various leg sizes.
Double Leg Gussets: A second elasticized insert of fabric in the leg hole of a diaper cover makes for a leak-proof diaper. This is especially important when your baby is small and breastfed and prone to blowouts.
Rise Snaps: Some people prefer diapers with hidden adjustment systems so all they can see is smooth fabric on the front of the diaper. Personally, I prefer rise snaps lining the front of my diaper so I can quickly adjust the size without taking a diaper off baby. This is particularly convenient if you use both fitted diapers and prefolds under your covers, because diaper covers often need to be sized up one setting to accomodate fitted diapers.
You Guessed It, The Duo Wrap Has It All
The Thirsties Duo Wrap has all these features and adds cute colors and prints plus the option to fasten the diaper with Aplix (Velcro) or snaps. If there were an option for natural fabrics, the Duo Wrap would be the diaper cover for everyone. But PUL is a very convenient material to wash, so this cover is about as good as it gets for convenience and affordability.
