Welcome to Day 1 of 29 Diapers’ All-Natural Pampering Event for Moms. Our first review and giveaway is for a new favorite of mine, the new skin firming Pomegranate line of creams from Weleda. You will be seeing a lot of Weleda this week, and that is because this trusted eco-friendly natural skincare brand has the most products I know of to take care of mama naturally.
The Pomegranate bodycare line has been around for about a year now, but Weleda just added this new set of day and night skin firming creams to the line. In short, I love them. They rank right up with my favorite Premium Organics cocoa and raspberry moisturizer and melon extract toner. The pomegranate smells like SweetTarts, but yummier, and the day cream works with my sensitive oily skin without being too heavy, even though it is made of natural oils. That’s a tough job, and the product does it well. The night cream is a little heavier, but it seems to be calming down my panicky skin. This morning I woke up wondering if I had taken my makeup off the night before, because I couldn’t see any breakouts on my skin above the jawline (jawline acne is classic hormone-induced acne, which has followed me around since I was 11 years old, yippee), just peachy clear skin. I think I will be purchasing this product in the future. When I find something that works on my skin, I stick to it since it’s such a rare find.
Weleda also makes Pomegranate body oil, a new Pomegranate skin firming serum, and a brand-new line of Milk cleansing and toning products. You will be hearing about all of them this week, in addition to some other great pampering products I have tried. Stay tuned!
