29 Diapers’ Natural Pampering Event: A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron

A Dog's Purpose, New York Times Bestselling Author, W. Bruce Cameron, New York Times Bestseller, novel, fiction, giveaway, 29 Diapers, all-natural pampering event

Welcome to the final giveaway of 29 Diapers’ all natural pampering event for moms! I don’t know about you, but my favorite way to pamper myself is to go to the beach and read a good book, so I’m including a great novel in this event, plus some other great prizes from New York Times bestselling author W. Bruce Cameron, whom I met recently when we were on the Building Your Brand panel at the National Conference of Newspaper Columnists in Detroit. Bruce has kindly offered two of you not only a copy of his new novel A Dog’s Purpose, but also matching beach towel and hat. With all the products this week plus Bruce’s book in hand for a trip to the beach, you’ll be all set for your natural summer pampering–if you can find the time to use all of them!

A Dog's Purpose, New York Times Bestselling Author, W. Bruce Cameron, New York Times Bestseller, novel, fiction, giveaway, 29 Diapers, all-natural pampering event
W. Bruce Cameron is the author of 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, and his novel A Dog’s Purpose is #9 on the New York Times Bestseller List, recipient of numerous awards, and will soon be made into a movie by Dreamworks.

A Dog’s Purpose, A Novel for Humans

A Dog’s Purpose is a novel from the point of view of a dog, who lives through several lives searching for his purpose. If you love animals I think you will really like this novel. If you love dogs it’s a must-read. W. Bruce Cameron also interacts with his enormous fan base on the A Dog’s Purpose Facebook page, so check it out if you’re a dog lover. The ADP website also has dog of the week contests for showing off man’s best friend. But most of all this is just a touching novel about life, human relationships, and living with an open heart. I have enjoyed it very much.

A Dog’s Purpose Double Book, Hat, & Towel Giveaway

Would you like to win a copy of Bruce’s novel plus a matching hat and beach towel? Two of you will win this giveaway. To enter, tell me about your favorite pet. Since my dad and sister were allergic to cats and dogs, mine was a guinea pig named Peanut who made friends with the neighbor’s dog and would run up into my arms and yank on my shirt with her teeth when she wanted to go back to her cage. Sigh. Best. Animal. Ever. Leave a comment on this blog post telling me about your favorite pet, and don’t forget to include your email address so I can contact you if you win.

Hm…favorite? I had a golden retriever and a German shepherd growing up, and I loved them both very much. Now we have an extremely needy cat named Izzy.

my fave pet was my Chocolate Lab, Coco. She passed away at age 14 when I was pregnant with my first son. We called her our first “baby”. I miss her dearly and her ashes are on our bookshelf. :)

I’ve had many wonderful pets over the years, but I think my current cat, Elf, is my favorite. She is intelligent, beautiful, and follows me around the house like a puppy, always wanting to be close. She is not particularly fond of the husband’s new kitten, but she is still the Queen of the House as far as I am concerned.

My cat Pixil was a wonderful pet. She wasn’t super friendly but she knew when you needed that silent acceptance only animals can provide and would materialize to snuggle up next to you at just the right time.

My favorite pet is my black lab/german shepard mix, Triton. I adopted him from the dog pound when he was 8 weeks old, and he has been the best dog ever. He watches from the window to ensure I make it to my car safely every morning and is the first one at the door when I get home every night.

OOOOOH my favorite is actually two. First up is Todd…he would talk to the birds on the windowsill (a tabby cat). Sit on the top of doors. He also would lay his head on the pillow and be tucked in to fall asleep. He was a cuddle button. Next was Pearl, an absolute wonder of a persian cat. We adopted her and she was amazing….she stayed in our backyard, shared my bed (all right she allowed me to sleep on her bed) and gave the best cuddles but only when she wanted to. She was the queen of the household and we were her servants.

And then there is Dude…the abandoned ferret who knew where to come to who stole everything and our hearts.

My favorite is my mutt now..he’s 3 years old now and I’ve had him since he was born…he’s a beautiful dog. He’s special because I have raised him, he’s my baby. And he’s so funny when I bring guys to the house…he is overprotective of me. He’ll stand in front of me and growl and bark at the guy. If I try to move, he’ll look at me and growl like saying stay back..hahaha..when the guy finally steps waay back, my dog will then lick me and lay down so I can pet his belly and start acting all baby like…it’s adorable,,,
A car has hit him, someone tried to poison him once (he lives outside in his doghouse)…and he keeps going…I feel I’ll have him for a long time!

My favorite pet was my dog, Meshindi. He was a gentle giant that passed his certified therapy dog test and went on to do therapy at our local children’s home. I’m not sure who loved it more Meshindi or the kids. I miss him, but Kouga dog is following in his pawprints.

It’s hard to pick 1-especially when I have 4 now, but my fave is a gray and white rescue cat named Toby Trouble from the Detroit Humane Society. He is very affectionate and smart. He thinks he’s part dog. He’s best buddies with my dog and even though, he’ s our youngest cat….he’s the alpha cat

My favorite pet was my dog, Pepper, when I was a kid. He found me. He was half German Shepherd and half collie. He was best friend, I told him my secrets and hopes and dreams. One day I was outside with him and a bumble bee flew right a me, he jumped up and caught it in mid air, chewed it in half. I am scared of bees. He is my hero! I still miss him to this day.
