Oh Katy One-Size Diapers Review

Many smaller brands of pocket diapers are pretty close in design to the big brands like BumGenius or Fuzzibunz, but they seem to leave out a few features or be made of slightly less high-quality materials. The exact opposite is true of the Oh Katy pocket diaper, which while resembling a Bum Genius snap diaper many ways is even better thought out and has incredible quality. Let me tell you what I mean.

The Oh Katy diaper has a waterproof shell and fleece lining like any pocket diaper. It has a front opening pocket for clean removal of inserts before washing. It also has high-quality gussets around the legs for leak protection. But then it gets a little more awesome when you look at the snaps. First, the Oh Katy diaper has hip snaps specifically designed to make fitting a newborn easier. Then, the diaper has extra snaps that allow you to fold up and snap this diaper closed so you can use it on the go without a wet bag to store a soiled diaper in. That’s good news. I also love how the diaper has two rows of leg and waist snaps for a custom fit, since baby girl always seems to need this option to prevent gapping at the waist. In short, if you’re a fan of pocket diapers, this will become a staple of your stash. It doesn’t hurt that Oh Katy diapers come in all different colors, too, so you can get your fluff addiction on. ;) Best of all, these diapers are affordable, costing exactly the same as the ubiquitous BumGenius at $17.95 a diaper. That might make a nice holiday gift for yourself or a friend, no ?
