Charlies Soap Detergent Review
I have reviewed Charlie’s Soap natural detergent in the past, and done an interview with Sherry from Charlie’s Soap, so I’ll keep this review simple and you can check out those detailed posts if you’re looking for the scoop on Charlie’s (Pun intended! Oh my, mommy sleep deprivation.). I just wanted to bring you an eco-friendly gift idea that would go along with cloth diapers for a green mama friend for the holidays.
One of the things I have noticed when people start cloth diapering (myself included) is that they feel like they have finally conquered the confusion of all the options when they decide what kind of cloth diaper to use, only to discover that natural, additive-free detergents are just as confusing. They also have the same problem of being pricey upfront, though they can save you money in the long run because you use so little with each load. So, if you’re thinking about gifting some cloth diapers this holiday season, consider throwing in a sample pack or even an 80-load bag of Charlie’s Soap, which among natural detergents is very affordable at just $16, to help your friend get started diapering with ease. Charlie’s works best on a newer stash that is in good shape. It can strip residue out of your washer but won’t strip residue out of your diapers as well as some other detergents, so this is a product best used from when your diapers are still working well and pretty stink-free. Charlie’s also sells a laundry booster, and amazing stain-remover spray to pre-treat your laundry, plus other natural household cleaners, so you might even skip the diapers and just treat yourself or a friend to a smorgasbord of natural cleaners to get the new year started off green without the hassle of figuring out which cleaners are actually as eco-friendly as they say.
